Period 2:

And we're back with a minute to go before the puck drops to start the 2nd period.

With MSUB still down a man it will give the tribunes 48 seconds to get a couple of quick shots

MCC's number 27 takes a two minute penalty making it 4-4 and at 1912 MSUB returns to full strength.

MCC returns to full strength, however both teams take coincidental penalties for delay of game.

The game is at five aside as both teams work to get ahead, the puck being controlled equally by both teams, as it is taken up and down the ice.

At 1326 monroe has taken three quick shots all of which have been stopped the MSUB's goalie. The puck goes out of bounds which brings th e faceoff to center ice.

The jacks ice the puck and the faceoff is in their defensive zone, monroe takes the puck behind the net but the jacks manage to break it out and get a quick shot on on the MCC goalie.

eleven minutes left in second period and the Jacks bring the puck in offsides. Monroe takes it and goes and gets a few shots, which are aved by MSUB's goalie.

With half the game gone, we find it at a 1-1 tie, with both teams controlling the puck for equal amounts of time.

MCC's number 17 takes a two minute penalty for elbowing giving the Jacks a one man advantage at 940.

The jack's get several quick shots, all blocked, then MCC takes it down for a Huge shot, which is saved by MSUB's Goalie.

800 left in the period and both teams are back at five on five hockey.

The jacks bring the puck in offsides. Monroe gets a good shot off, but they are denied. the jacks are trying to get it into their zone but for the last minute MCC has been in complete control of the game.

Jacks come down on a 2 on one but they are tripped. MCC's number 12 gets the penalty for interference.

Four minutes to go in the 2nd period and we find ourselves still tied at one with MSUB having a minute left of their powerplay.

MSUB had three very close shots but see their powerplay come to an end without adding anything to the scoreboard.

MSUB's number 21 takes a minor for slashing, giving the Tribunes a one man advantage.

With a minute left inn the period MCC comes down on a breakaway but are stopped by the Jacks' goalie.

And we now have thirty seconds of 5-5 hockey left in this period.

At the end of the 2nd we remain at a 1-1 tie with MCC getting 10 saves, and MSUB getting 13 saves.
